What Lucida doesn’t do yet
Lucida is new, and these pages say where it is behind:
- No App Store app yet. It runs in a browser on computers and phones.
- No offline mode. It needs an internet connection.
- No add-ons and no custom card templates.
- It can’t read Anki .apkg files, only Anki’s plain-text export, and pictures, sounds and review history don’t come across.
- Its library of shared decks is new and much smaller than Quizlet’s or AnkiWeb’s.
- Live is multiple choice, for individuals, with up to 60 players, and you host it from a computer.
- It doesn’t make cards from a web page address. You can paste the text or save the page as a PDF.
